What is CBD?
CBD, which stands for cannabidiol, is a natural chemical found in the cannabis plant. CBD is low in marijuana, but very high in hemp. Thousands of studies have shown evidence supporting the potential health benefits that CBD may have in the alleviation of a wide range of conditions, such as pain, inflammation, mental disorders such as anxiety, PTSD, panic disorder, OCD, and depression, and even neurological disorders such as epilepsy. However, more studies are needed to make a definitive conclusion on its benefits to humans. Nature's Candy extracts CBD from not just any ol' hemp plant, but PCR hemp which contains ten times the concentration of CBD as the generic hemp plant. We put this extract into products that are easy to consume for every day people.
Who is CBD for?
The majority of CBD consumers include those with chronic pain and anxiety. However, if you currently take medication, you should consult your physician before trying CBD.
How is CBD consumed?
There are multiple ways to take CBD. It can be swallowed like in CBD oils, aerosol sprays, CBD infused drink, and capsules, or it can be inhaled as in CBD vape products. There are also topical products such as CBD creams and balms which users have reported to help with lower back and neck pain.
Will CBD get me "high"?
Nope! Nature's Candy CBD is 100% THC, and THC is the chemical in marijuana that makes a person feel high.
How much should I take?
It depends on the person. Scientists have not pinpointed the perfect dose for humans. Factors such as your age, weight, height, gender, and even your genes can affect how much CBD is right for you. Here's a good starting point, start at the bottom and make your way up. For a 200 lb adult, we recommend 16 mg once every morning, then working your way up or down to "tune" your desired dosage. Some people might want to take it twice a day, once in the morning and once and night, but another person might want to go down in dose and take it once every other day. Here are 3 examples of what 10mg doses of Nature's Candy CBD looks like:
- 1 dropper full of 500 mg CBD Oil Tincture
- 1/4 dropper of 1350 mg CBD Oil Tincture - Extra Strength
- 1 Gummy
Eventually you will get a good idea as to how much you need. It may take anywhere from 1-4 weeks, but be patient and stay consistent because it will be worth it.

How do I know which CBD brand to choose?
There are an astounding number of CBD brands that mislead consumers on their label regarding how much CBD is actually in the bottle. A study by a Penn Medicine, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that nearly 70 percent of all cannabidiol products sold online are either over or under labeled. It is important that you choose a brand you can trust. Nature's Candy was founded by a team of Scientists, not corporate executives in suit and ties. We take lab testing of our products extremely seriously, so you can ensure that you are getting what you pay for. For this reason, we highly recommend Nature's Candy CBD as your brand of choice.
Is it legal?
Yes. Thanks to the recent 2018 Farm Bill, hemp is legal to grow and possess in the United States as long as it contains less than 0.3% THC, the psychoactive compound found in marijuana. Nature's Candy goes one step further and completely removed THC from its products, making it a 100% THC-free product.
When should I take CBD?
It depends. A dose should be taken once a day, in the morning or at night. Whichever time you prefer, it is important to stay consistent and take the same amount of CBD at the same time each day. One users take it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, but others have reported only needing to take it every couple days.
Is CBD safe?
Yes. The complete safety of CBD is unknown, however, we do know there aren't any known cases of CBD doing any harm to humans. In fact, CBD is recognized as safe by the World Health Organization, stating “To date, there is no evidence of recreational use of CBD or any public health-related problems associated with the use of pure CBD". Nature's Candy CBD products are pure CBD.
Will CBD show up on a drug test?
The urine drug panels used in the United States do not test for the presence of the chemical Cannabidiol (CBD), they test for the presence of the psychoactive chemical Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Our CBD products are 100% THC free because take an extra step in our manufacturing process to remove all trace levels of THC. Thus, use of Nature's Candy products will not result in a positive test for the presence of CBD or THC on a drug urine test.
